- Amiga running 3.1 on an 8088 processor? I find that very hard to
- believe as all the know Amiga models use the MC 680x0 range of
- processors and not the Intel 8088 ones.

-
- Sure. The AmiNet Archies will furnish you with all that your
- friend needs. Since you are in the USA try FTPing to:
-
- ftp.wustl.edu /pub/aminet/com
-
- In that directory you'll find some subdirs.
-
- mail -> various mailreaders
- news -> various newsreaders
- tcp -> tcp/ip stack and utilities. As well as aweb.lha. Which
- is a pretty neat and stable www browser for the Amiga.
- And has no problem running on a 4 MB system.
-
- Which should take care of most of your friends needs.
-
- take care,
